• 1. Maintenance Planning: Plan, schedule, and execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities to ensure maximum equipment availability.
• 2. Team Management: Supervise and guide maintenance engineers, supervisors, technicians, and contract workers to achieve departmental objectives.
• 3. Breakdown Management: Coordinate troubleshooting and repair activities to minimize equipment downtime and production losses.
• 4. Equipment Reliability: Monitor equipment performance, identify recurring failures, and implement corrective and improvement measures.
• 5. Budget Control: Prepare maintenance budgets, control expenses, and optimize the utilization of manpower, materials, and spare parts.
• 6. Safety Compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities follow safety procedures, statutory requirements, permit-to-work systems, and applicable standards.
• 7. Spare Parts Management: Ensure the availability of critical spares and maintain proper inventory control.
• 8. Continuous Improvement: Implement reliability improvement initiatives, energy-saving projects, and maintenance best practices.
• 9. Coordination: Coordinate with production, quality, purchase, and other departments to ensure uninterrupted operations.
• 10. Reporting: Monitor and report key performance indicators (KPIs), maintenance costs, equipment downtime, and preventive maintenance compliance to senior management.
