Reliance Retail is seeking a DC Manager for the Electronics Supply Chain in Farrukhnagar. The role drives efficient, safe, and cost-effective Distribution Centre operations, owning KPIs for order fulfilment and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

You will lead end-to-end warehouse operations, optimize inventory, and manage cross-functional teams while coordinating with vendors and stakeholders to deliver operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and reduce overall supply chain costs
• Drive daily warehouse operations including inbound, outbound, inventory, fulfilment and reverse logistics for multiple sales channels
• Lead and mentor a multi-functional team including Section Managers, QA, and vendor management
• Monitor DC KPIs and drive improvement; oversee Interim and Satellite DCs for Quick Commerce
• Process excellence and inventory control to minimize shrinkage and optimize storage
• Ensure adherence to SOPs across all DC sections
• Act as single point of contact for DC escalations; coordinate Business Continuity Planning
• Build relationships with logistics partners and vendors; escalate dependencies with clear timelines

Role & responsibilities

The DC Manager (Electronics Supply Chain, Farrukhnagar) is responsible for driving efficient, safe, and cost-effective Distribution Centre operations, ensuring seamless order fulfilment across all business channels. The role provides overall administrative leadership, owns key performance metrics including order fulfilment, and ensures adherence to safety and compliance standards. It involves overseeing end-to-end warehouse operations, optimizing inventory and productivity, and leading cross-functional teams while managing vendors and stakeholders to deliver operational excellence.

1. Plan and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and reduce overall supply chain costs
2. Drive daily warehouse operations covering inbound, outbound, inventory, fulfilment and reverse logistics, ensuring timely order fulfilment across all sales channels (multi-format stores, online, resQ, Quick Commerce)
3. Lead and mentor a multi-functional team including Section Managers, QA, vendor management, reverse logistics, and assistant DC managers
4. Monitor all DC KPIs across functions and ensure timely action for improvement of laggards; own performance of Interim DCs and Satellite DCs for Quick Commerce; re-align capacity amongst sections as per business priorities
5. Process Excellence & Inventory Control: Identify areas for process improvement, streamline workflows, ensure optimal inventory levels, minimize shrinkage, and manage storage and distribution efficiently
6. Ensure adherence to operational SOPs without deviation across all sections of the DC
7. Act as the single point of contact for all DC issue escalations; lead Business Continuity Planning (BCP) during emergencies in coordination with NHQ and stakeholders
8. Build and maintain relationships with logistics, distribution and service partners; act as SPOC for vendors (3PL, SLP, Housekeeping, Facility Management, Line Haul Logistics); elevate external dependencies to stakeholders with clear timelines
