Job summary

Embark Services Private Limited in Mumbai is seeking a Deputy Manager for our Cyber Team who will build strong relationships with internal teams and clients to exceed expectations, while shaping data privacy strategies.

You will develop policies, conduct DPIAs and risk assessments, monitor processing activities for compliance, and design privacy controls to strengthen client data protection posture.

Qualifications

• 8–13 years of data protection or privacy compliance experience.
• CIPT/CIPM/CIPPE or related certifications preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of data protection laws, especially India's PDP Bill.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor's degree in law, IT, or a related field.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities; able to work independently.

• Develop data protection policies and procedures inaccordance with privacy laws and regulations for clients
  
• Conduct assessments to identify potential data privacyand protection risks and develop mitigation strategies for clients as pertheir requirements
  
• Monitor and evaluate data processing activities toensure compliance with data protection laws and company policies as perclient requirement
  
• Provide guidance and support to the clients onconducting data protection impact assessments (DPIAs), conducting riskassessments, data governance, application, privacy impact assessments.
  
• Design and build security / privacy framework,design/re-design processes and privacy controls to ensure frameworkdevelopment for clients
  

Requirements

Keyskills required:

• Minimum of 8 to 13 years of experience in dataprotection or privacy compliance
  
• CIPT/CIPM/CIPPE or any other related certificationspreferred
  
• In-depth knowledge of data protection laws andregulations, particularly the Personal Data Protection Bill in India.
  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
