Role Overview
We are hiring Data Privacy professionals at Consultant, Assistant Manager, and Manager levels to support enterprise‑wide privacy programs across diverse industries. The role requires hands‑on experience in privacy regulations, data mapping, risk assessments, implementation of privacy controls, and client‑facing advisory assignments.
Candidates should have strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and practical exposure to privacy governance, compliance implementation, and stakeholder management.
Key Responsibilities
1. Privacy Compliance & Advisory
- Support implementation and operationalization of privacy frameworks aligned to DPDP Act (India), GDPR, CCPA, and other global regulations
- Conduct Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA) / Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA)
- Perform data mapping, data flow analysis, and record of processing activities (RoPA) documentation
- Assist in drafting and reviewing privacy policies, notices, consent mechanisms, and internal SOPs
- Conduct privacy maturity assessments and gap analysis
- Identify privacy risks and recommend remediation strategies
- Support third‑party/vendor privacy risk assessments
- Work closely with legal, IT, security, and business teams to embed privacy‑by‑design principles
3. Data Subject Rights & Incident Support
- Support Data Subject Access Requests (DSAR) lifecycle management
- Assist in breach assessment and regulatory reporting requirements
- Monitor privacy compliance controls and periodic review mechanisms
4. Project Execution & Client Engagement
- Participate in client workshops, stakeholder interviews, and compliance discussions
- Prepare reports, executive summaries, and remediation roadmaps
- Ensure timely delivery of assignments within defined project timelines
Level‑Specific Expectations
- Hands‑on execution of privacy assessments and documentation
- Strong knowledge of DPDP, GDPR basics, and privacy control implementation
- Ability to work independently on defined modules
- Lead small teams for privacy implementation engagements
- Manage client communication for workstreams
- Oversee DPIAs, third‑party risk reviews, and compliance remediation tracking
- Lead end‑to‑end privacy programs and multi‑location engagements
- Drive governance strategy and privacy framework implementation
- Mentor junior team members and manage stakeholder escalations
- Support pre‑sales, proposals, and solution design discussions
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 2+ years of relevant experience in Data Privacy / Data Protection
- Strong understanding of:
- DPDP Act (India)
- GDPR
- CCPA (good to have)
- Experience in data mapping, RoPA, DPIA, and privacy governance frameworks
- Understanding of ISO 27701 / ISO 27001 (good to have)
- Strong documentation, analytical, and communication skills
- Consulting or advisory background preferred
