Job summary

Embark Services Private Limited, serving as Deputy Manager in our Cyber Team, seeks to enhance client data protection programs. You will develop policies, conduct DPIAs, assess risks, and ensure compliance with privacy laws. Strong knowledge of PDPB and related regulations is essential.

The role requires 5–8 years in data protection, with certifications (CIPT/CIPM/CIPPE) preferred. Excellent communication and ability to work in a fast-paced environment are key.

Qualifications

• Develop data protection policies and procedures inaccordance with privacy laws and regulations for clients
  
• Conduct assessments to identify potential data privacyand protection risks and develop mitigation strategies for clients as pertheir requirements
  
• Monitor and evaluate data processing activities toensure compliance with data protection laws and company policies as perclient requirement
  
• Provide guidance and support to the clients onconducting data protection impact assessments (DPIAs), conducting riskassessments, data governance, application, privacy impact assessments.
  
• Design and build security / privacy framework,design/re-design processes and privacy controls to ensure frameworkdevelopment for clients
  

Requirements

Keyskills required:

• Minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience in dataprotection or privacy compliance
  
• CIPT/CIPM/CIPPE or any other related certificationspreferred
  
• In-depth knowledge of data protection laws andregulations, particularly the Personal Data Protection Bill in India.
