Job summary

Deloitte Shared Services India seeks a Cyber DPT Consultant in Delhi NCR to build and maintain data privacy controls. You will manage DLP, discovery and classification tools, and monitor for data leakage while aligning with DPDP A and ISO 27001 standards.

The role involves incident triage, policy tuning, and reporting, with strong emphasis on collaboration across teams and clients in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in data protection tools.
• Experience with DLP, data discovery & classification, DAM and DRM solutions.
• Monitor security alerts and investigate data leakage and policy violations.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements (DPDPA, ISO 27001).

Responsibilities

• Build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients to exceed expectations.
• Manage and operate data protection tools including DLP, Data Discovery & Classification, DAM, and DRM solutions.
• Monitor security alerts and investigate potential data leakage, unauthorized access, and policy violations.
• Perform incident triage, analysis, resolution, and escalation as per procedures.
• Configure and fine-tune policies to improve detection accuracy and reduce false positives.
• Support data discovery and classification initiatives to identify and protect sensitive data (PII, financial, confidential).
• Monitor database activities and generate audit logs for suspicious or privileged access.
• Maintain and enforce data protection policies, controls, and SOPs.
• Generate reports on incidents, trends, and tool performance for stakeholders.

Your work profile

Key skills required

• Hands-on experience in:
• DLP tools (Microsoft Purview, Symantec, Forcepoint, etc.)
• Data Discovery & Classification tools
• Database Activity Monitoring (DAM) (e.g., Guardium, Imperva)
• DRM / Information Protection solutions
• Understanding of data protection lifecycle and security controls
• Knowledge of sensitive data types and regulatory requirements (DPDPA, ISO 27001, etc.)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving mindset
• Education - Bachelor's degree in information technology, or a related field
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
