Job description

Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)

Must-Have

• Hands-on experience with Cisco, including a complete understanding of implementation and management of routing (Cisco), switching (Cisco, HP, MS), and firewalls (ASA, FTD, MX).
• Knowledge of APN, LAN, WAN networks, MPLS.
• Development and execution of activities related to end-to-end production support.
• Experience in migration, proof of concepts (POC), design, solutioning, and project management, including planning, scoping, requirements gathering, implementation, and deployment.
• Proactive monitoring, management, and reporting on deliverables.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across multiple networking platforms and technologies.
• Preparation of solutions for infrastructure transformation.
• Ability to lead a team of up to 8-10 FTEs.
• Handling customer POCs related to transformation projects.
• Providing insights and ensuring team adherence to network equipment standards, monitoring, SOP-based resolution, and device health checks.
• Performing soft commissioning and decommissioning of network devices.
• Configuration updates, patching, and IOS upgrades of network devices such as SD-WAN, routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Monitoring and incident coordination for WAN links, MPLS, internet links, layer 2 links, ExpressRoute, and Azure breakout.
• Managing IP addresses and DHCP.

Professional Attributes: Good communication skills, both written and oral.

Educational Qualification: BE/BTech or equivalent.
