Qualifications

• 5–8 years of hands-on experience in enterprise network infrastructure.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS/IT/Network Engineering or equivalent.
• CCNA or CCNP certifications required.

Responsibilities

Position Name : Sr. Network Engineer

Job Role :

We are looking ahead for Senior Network Engineer role should have the ability to plan, implement, maintain the enterprise network infrastructure. The role should be leading network architecture projects & implementation, troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues by adhering to the SLA metrics, and elevate to the next level SMEs for critical incident resolutions.

Key Responsibilities :

• Implement, and manage LAN, WAN, WLAN, and SD-WAN architectures.
• Configure and maintain enterprise routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers across various OEM platforms of Cisco, Check-Point, Fortinet, F5.
• Implement and test robust network security measures, access controls, firewalls, and VPN/IDS/IPS systems.
• Monitor network performance, integrity, and bandwidth through capacity planning using tools like SolarWinds, Manage Engine, PRTG.
• Resolve P1 through P4 network incidents across on-premises and cloud (GCP/AWS/Azure) platforms, elevate to the next level SME for critical P1 incidents.
• Automate routine network tasks, configuration backups, and provisioning using scripting options.
• Good attitude in interacting with internal peer-group team members to ensure the peer groups gets a seamless network support.
• Maintain detailed HL & LL network diagrams and technical standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or equivalent.

Experience:

• 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience in managing enterprise network infrastructure.

Technical Skills :

• Technical understanding of networking protocols: TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, DNS, DHCP, STP, VLAN & VTP, SNMP, and IPSEC & SSLVPN.
• Hands-on experience with hardware and OS platforms: Cisco IOS/IOS-XE, Check-Point, Fortinet.
• Familiarity with cloud networking principles (GCP, Azure, or AWS).

Certifications :

• CCNA / CCNP certifications

Soft Skills :

• Strong analytical, root-cause troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills to explain technical information with internal peer-groups.
• Ability to work independently and manage complex network infrastructure.
