Job summary

Info Edge Limited is seeking a network engineer to design, implement and optimize enterprise networks across data centers and offices, with cloud integration as needed.

The role requires hands-on experience with routing, switching, data center networking, firewall security and VPN solutions, plus ITIL-based incident and change management. Strong analytical skills and vendor coordination are essential.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy and optimize scalable and secure network architectures.
• Configure and troubleshoot Cisco/Juniper/Arista switches and routing protocols.
• Design and manage firewall security across multiple vendors.
• Oversee data center networking, including STP, VLANs and redundancy.
• Implement wireless networking with Cisco/Aruba solutions.
• Configure and troubleshoot VPNs (AnyConnect, OpenVPN, GlobalProtect).
• Manage load balancing (F5 BIG-IP) and SSL certificates.
• Plan device patching, firmware/OS upgrades and security compliance.
• Follow ITIL practices for incident, change and problem management.
• Coordinate with ISPs and vendors to ensure SLA compliance.
• Maintain detailed network documentation and diagrams.

Key Responsibilities

• Network Architecture & Design: Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available network solutions for enterprise environments.
• Routing & Switching: Configure and troubleshoot Cisco, Juniper, and Arista switches, with expertise in OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, STP, MSTP, HSRP, VRRP, VLANs, and EtherChannel.
• Firewall & Network Security: Design, configure, and manage Check Point, Palo Alto, Sophos, and SonicWall firewalls, including standalone, high-availability, and virtualized deployments.
• Data Center Networking: Manage and troubleshoot data center switching infrastructure, including spanning tree, trunking, redundancy, and high-availability configurations.
• Wireless Networking: Implement and manage Cisco and Aruba wireless solutions, including access points and wireless controllers.
• VPN Solutions: Configure and troubleshoot site-to-site and remote-access VPNs using technologies such as GlobalProtect, Cisco AnyConnect, OpenVPN, and Pulse Secure.
• Load Balancing: Manage F5 BIG-IP LTM/GTM solutions, including VIP/WIP configuration, SSL certificates, health monitors, persistence profiles, and iRules.
• Infrastructure Lifecycle Management: Plan and execute network device patching, firmware upgrades, OS upgrades, and security compliance activities.
• Incident & Change Management: Follow ITIL practices for incident, request, change, and problem management.
• Vendor Coordination: Coordinate with ISPs and network vendors to monitor service quality, resolve issues, and ensure SLA compliance.
• Technical Documentation: Maintain network architecture diagrams, configuration documents, implementation plans, and troubleshooting procedures.
