Job summary

Deloitte Shared Services India seeks a hands-on SAP S/4HANA Data Migration Senior Consultant to execute migration activities across SAP transformation programs. You will work on data extraction, profiling, mapping, cleansing, transformation, validation and loading.

Acting with SAP functional teams, you will prepare migration docs, dress rehearsals, cutover and hypercare, and drive data quality initiatives with clients.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA migrations.
• Strong ETL development and data migration skills.
• Experience with multiple ETL tools and migration cockpits.
• Knowledge of FI/CO/MM/SD/PP/PM/QM/EWM data objects.
• Excellent communication with clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end SAP Data Migration activities for ECC to SAP S/4HANA projects.
• Develop and run ETL jobs using SAP Data Services, Syniti, Informatica or SSIS.
• Prepare mapping docs, reconciliation reports, and load files.
• Support mock loads, cutover, and hypercare activities.
• Identify data quality issues and propose remediation actions.
• Collaborate with SAP functional consultants on business data requirements.

Your work profile

• We are seeking a hands-on SAP S/4HANA Data Migration Senior Consultant to execute data migration activities across SAP transformation programs.
• The ideal candidate should possess strong technical and functional knowledge, experience in ETL development, SAP migration tools, data quality, validation, reconciliation, and client interaction.
• Execute end-to-end SAP Data Migration activities for ECC to SAP S/4HANA projects.
• Perform data extraction, profiling, mapping, cleansing, transformation, validation, reconciliation, and loading.
• Develop and execute ETL jobs using SAP Data Services (BODS), Syniti, Informatica, SSIS, or equivalent ETL tools. (any ETL tool would be fine).
• Work closely with SAP functional consultants to understand business requirements and data dependencies.
• Prepare mapping documents, reconciliation reports, load files, and migration documentation.
• Support mock loads, dress rehearsals, cutover, and hypercare activities.
• Identify data quality issues and recommend remediation actions.
• Contribute to automation initiatives and adoption of AI-enabled migration practices.

Key skills required; -

• 59 years of IT experience with hands-on SAP Data Migration experience.
• Experience in at least one SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA implementation project.
• Good understanding of SAP business processes across FI, CO, MM, SD, PP, PM, QM, EWM, and related master and transactional data objects.
• Hands-on experience with SAP Migration Cockpit, SAP Data Services (BODS), Syniti, Informatica, SSIS, or similar ETL tools.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, SAP tables, IDocs, BAPIs, LSMW, APIs, and data extraction techniques.
• Experience in Data Profiling, Data Quality, Data Cleansing, Validation, Reconciliation, Mock Loads, Cutover, and Hypercare.
• Excellent analytical, communication, documentation, and client interaction skills.
