Job summary

Navsan in Hyderabad, Telangana, India, is seeking an experienced Data Migration Specialist to lead end-to-end data migration programs across on-premise to cloud and ERP systems. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in data migration, strong SQL, ETL expertise, SAP experience, and hands-on use of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS or Google Cloud.

You will design migration strategies, perform data mapping and cleansing, validate results, manage risks, and ensure data governance and security

Qualifications

• Proven experience (over 5 years) in data migration roles.
• Strong technical expertise in databases, and data integration and data migration tools.
• Experience with ETL tools for extracting data from SQL databases.
• Strong ability to write SQL scripts.
• Proficiency in performing data extraction, transformation, cleansing, validation, file uploads, and data loading to SAP.
• Experience in data migration within S4HANA or other ERP systems.
• Experience with cloud data platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, or Shell scripting for data manipulation and automation.
• Knowledge of data modelling, data quality, and master data management principles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams
• Experience migrating data between on-premise and cloud systems.
• Experience with ERP/CRM or enterprise data migration projects (e.g., SAP, Salesforce, Dynamics).
• Project management or Agile delivery experience.
