Job summary

Liebherr CMCtec India Private Limited in Pune, India, is seeking an experienced BI professional to design, build and optimize data pipelines using the Microsoft BI stack.

You will collaborate with manufacturing and international teams to ensure data quality, security and scalable analytics with SQL Server, SSAS, DAX and Power BI.

Required 5–9 years in BI development, a CS/IT degree, and excellent communication and teamwork across a globally distributed group.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field required.
• 5-9 years of BI development experience in Microsoft environment.
• Experience in manufacturing and international enterprise context preferred.
• Strong understanding of business intelligence, data integration, and data analysis.

Responsibilities

Creating Passion: Your Responsibilities

• Create and maintain an optimal data pipeline architecture.
• Assemble large, complex data sets that meet the functional/non-functional business requirements.
• Work with stakeholders including Executive, Product and Data teams to assist with data related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs.
• Design and implement data quality checks to ensure data integrity.
• Ensure consistency of data and processes in the data warehouse and lake houses along common principles like “single-source-of-truth”.
• Keep our data secure and well protected along with our data catalog strategy.
• Work with data and analytics experts to strive for greater functionality and efficiency in our data systems.

Qualification and Education Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience

• This role requires a strong understanding of business intelligence, data integration, and data analysis.
• 5-9 years of experience in Business Intelligence development within a Microsoft environment.
• Experience within a manufacturing company and within an international enterprise context.

Preferred Skills / Special Skills

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a globally distributed team.
• Proven skills in Microsoft BI technologies including: SQL Server, SSAS, DAX, PowerBI.
• Familiarity with cloud-based BI solutions useful, but not necessary.
• Knowledge of data visualization best practices.
