Job summary

Abacus Consultants seeks a Datacenter Operations Specialist to oversee the daily management of our datacenter infrastructure, ensuring reliability, security, and disaster recovery across Windows and Linux environments.

You will manage operations and workflows, collaborate with users and vendors, implement DR and security procedures, schedule updates, test system reliability, and ensure secure remote access while staying current with emerging technologies.

Qualifications

• Work Location: Airoli, Navi Mumbai.
• Qualification: Any academic degree or diploma.
• Experience: 23 years of hands-on expertise in managing Windows Server environments with a focus on system administration and infrastructure optimization.
• Technical Skills: Windows Server (2012/2016/2019), DNS, DHCP, AD, File/Print Servers, IIS
• Server Hardware: RAID and storage setup
• Tools & Strengths: Performance tuning, monitoring, backups, and strong troubleshooting with clear documentation.
• Nice to have: Familiar with antivirus tools, datacenter operations, and capacity planning.

Responsibilities

• Test and Modify Systems to Ensure Optimal Reliability: Ensures systems function smoothly and reliably, preventing potential disruptions by identifying and resolving issues before they impact operations.
• Ensure Secure Network Access for Remote Users: Protects the network and sensitive data by enabling secure access for remote users, ensuring compliance with security protocols.
