Job Summary

The System Administration Manager is responsible for the management of all Windows Server infrastructure at ICICI bank’s Primary (Hyderabad) and DR (Jaipur) Data Centre. This includes managing Server Inductions, Server health and uptime, Server resource management, augmentation, troubleshooting when necessary, managing incidents, executing end‑to‑end projects, and overseeing 24x7 operations.

Job Requirements

• Good knowledge for managing Windows physical servers such as Cisco, HP, Dell, Fujitsu, etc.
• Expert or good understanding of RAID configuration and troubleshooting related to accessibility issues, network problems, BSODs, disk and storage issues, and ILO/console concepts.
• Well aware of VMware and Nutanix technologies and good exposure to manage virtual Microsoft Windows servers.
• Capability to handle issues related to OS accessibility, network, performance, and other operational work.
• Good understanding of server induction, OS installation (on‑site or remotely via console or ILO), and disk‑related actions.
• Experience with Microsoft fail‑over clusters (creation, reconfiguration, migrations, cluster‑disk tasks).
• Proficiency in IIS (site creation, migration, troubleshooting).
• Ability to troubleshoot performance issues, site reachability problems, and various status codes (200, 300, 400, 500 series).
• Experience with log analysis such as IIS logs, HTTPError logs, freb, and worker process dump analysis.
• Experience with OS log analysis tools like perfmon, memory dumps, netmon.
• Deep knowledge of the OS to identify root causes during outages.
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of PowerShell scripting.
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of cloud concepts such as Azure, Oracle, Google.
• Hands‑on tasks related to different clouds like Azure, Oracle, Google.
• Proactive management and maintenance of servers and virtual environments for high uptime.
• Design and implementation of monitoring, configuration management, and reporting functions to create a hands‑off environment.
• Documentation of best practices and support procedures.
• Provision of after‑hours support for infrastructure emergencies and occasional weekend maintenance.

Qualification

• Graduation.
• Vast technical expertise in Windows and related technologies.

Experience

• Overall IT experience of more than 7 years with at least 5‑6 years hands‑on experience in Windows.
• Good administrative knowledge.
• Experience in the finance domain in the same profile is an added advantage.
• Experience in team management and vendor management.
