Job summary

Appynitty Communications in Nagpur, Maharashtra seeks an experienced IT Infrastructure / Server Administrator to manage data centre operations, Windows Server environments, firewalls, storage and backup.

The role requires hands-on expertise in SQL Server, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), AD/DNS/DHCP/IIS, PowerShell automation and strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on experience in Server / Infrastructure / Data Centre Administration.
• Strong enterprise infrastructure troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• CCNA / MCSA or equivalent certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage, install, configure, monitor and troubleshoot Windows Server 2012/2016/2019/2022.
• Troubleshoot Windows OS, services, applications, performance, disk, Event Viewer and network-related issues.
• Administer Firewalls, including firewall policies, NAT, routing, VPN, IPsec/SSL VPN, traffic and security logs.
• Strong knowledge of Network Security, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, HTTP/HTTPS, FTP, SMTP, SSL/TLS and IPsec.
• Manage NAS/SAN, iSCSI, LUNs, storage volumes and capacity; hands-on experience with Synology NAS and Pure Storage.
• Manage server backup, restore, retention and Disaster Recovery solutions.
• Manage Dell PowerEdge Servers, including RAID, hardware troubleshooting, firmware, BIOS and iDRAC.
• Use PowerShell for administration, monitoring, troubleshooting and automation.
• Basic working knowledge of SQL Server installation, backup/restore, Always On, Replication and HA/DR.
• Strong knowledge of AD, DNS, DHCP and IIS for infrastructure support.
• Manage and troubleshoot VMware/Hyper-V environments.
• Perform Data Centre operations, infrastructure monitoring, incident troubleshooting, preventive maintenance and vendor coordination.
• Maintain infrastructure documentation and follow security, backup and change management procedures.
