Job summary

Updater Services (UDS) is seeking a seasoned Manager Data Center and NOC Operations to lead 24x7 data center and network operations in Delhi. You will guide NOC teams, drive incident resolution and SLA adherence, and manage vendors and capacity planning.

The ideal candidate has 15+ years in IT operations, strong networking and server expertise, and CCNP/PMP certifications preferred. This role focuses on process optimization, staffing, and out-of-hours escalation support.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of experience in IT Operations.
• Strong experience in NOC management within large-scale IT environments.
• Proven experience in team leadership and technology supervision.
• Strong technical expertise in networking, servers, incident management and service operations.
• Experience in SLA management, capacity management, service restoration and infrastructure maintenance.
• Strong vendor, supplier and stakeholder management skills.
• CCNP and PMP certifications will be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Data Center and NOC operations, ensuring 24x7 service delivery.
• Manage NOC teams and provide technical and operational guidance, including 3rd and 4th line support.
• Oversee incident management, service restoration, escalation management and SLA compliance.
• Monitor staffing levels, shift schedules and workload to ensure timely response to incidents.
• Manage maintenance activities, contracts, vendors, suppliers and providers.
• Ensure SLA compliance for new service provisioning and restoration.
• Handle capacity management, asset utilization and infrastructure requirements.
• Act as the escalation point for customer issues and critical incidents.
• Develop, implement and maintain NOC processes and operational documentation.
• Lead internal projects to enhance service quality and efficiency.
• Coordinate with internal departments, customers, vendors and providers.
• Develop, mentor, and train team members with regular reviews.

Key Responsibilities

Candidate Profile

• Minimum 15 years of experience in IT Operations, preferably with extensive experience in Data Center and NOC environments.
• Strong experience in NOC management within large-scale IT environments.
• Proven experience in team leadership and technology supervision.
• Strong technical expertise in networking, servers, incident management and service operations.
• Experience in SLA management, capacity management, service restoration and infrastructure maintenance.
• Strong vendor, supplier and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication and escalation management skills.
• Experience in managing and developing technical teams.
• CCNP and PMP certifications will be preferred.
