Job summary

Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India Private Limited in Bengaluru seeks a Data Engineer to analyze datasets, translate operational challenges into analytical use cases, and design dashboards enabling actionable insights.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure scalable analytics implementations and drive adoption of predictive methods for autonomous planning and digital transformation in the supply chain domain.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related discipline.
  • 0-3 years of professional experience in Analytics, Data Science, Operations Research, Supply Chain Analytics or Digital Transformation.
  • Strong programming skills in Python and SQL.
  • Strong understanding of data modelling, data engineering concepts and large-scale data analysis.
  • Experience with analytics and visualization platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, Plotly or similar tools.
  • Experience with cloud-based analytical platforms such as Azure, Databricks, Snowflake or equivalent.
  • Good understanding of machine learning concepts and predictive analytics methodologies, and simulation techniques.
  • Understanding of data analytics, process mining, and decision intelligence concepts.
  • Knowledge of supply chain processes including planning, logistics, inventory management or manufacturing operations.
  • Strong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving capability.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present analytical insights to technical and business stakeholders.
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

Role – Data Engineer – Supply Chain Digitalization
