Role Purpose
The Learning Partner – Technical Capability & Workforce Transformation serves as a strategic advisor to the business, driving future-ready technical capabilities across MBRDI. Partnering with engineering leaders, HRBPs, technical experts, academia, and industry partners, the role identifies emerging skill needs, leads upskilling and reskilling initiatives, and delivers scalable capability solutions in areas such as AI, digital engineering, and next-generation automotive technologies, aligned to future business and technology roadmaps.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Business Partnership
- Serve as the primary Technical Learning Partner, building trusted relationships with leaders and stakeholders across the organization.
- Consult with business leaders to understand strategic priorities, capability gaps, workforce challenges, and future skill requirements.
- Translate business and technology strategies into scalable learning and capability-building interventions.
- Collaborate with HRBPs and leadership teams to define and execute technical workforce transformation roadmaps.
Technical Capability Development
- Own and govern the Technical Learning portfolio, ensuring alignment to business priorities and emerging technology trends.
- Design, curate, and deploy technical learning journeys, certification pathways, and development frameworks.
- Establish and manage competency frameworks across engineering and technology domains.
- Drive organization-wide upskilling and reskilling initiatives focused on current and future workforce requirements.
- Evaluate learning effectiveness and continuously optimize solutions to maximize business impact and learner experience.

- Measure effectiveness, capability growth, business impact, certification outcomes, learner adoption, and workforce readiness.
- Leverage data-driven insights to inform capability investments and future learning priorities.
- Present actionable recommendations to senior leadership based on learning and capability trends.
- Build strategic partnerships with universities, research institutions, industry bodies, startups, and technology providers.
- Manage external learning partners, consultants, and vendors to ensure quality, innovation, and business value.
- Develop and nurture a strong internal faculty and technical expert network.
- Manage technical learning budgets and ensure optimal utilization of investments.

Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Master's Degree in Engineering, Technology, Business Administration, Organizational Development, Learning Sciences, or a related discipline.
- 12+ years of relevant experience in Technical Learning, Capability Development, Engineering Workforce Transformation, Learning Consulting, or Talent Development.
- Minimum 4 years of experience partnering directly with technical or engineering organizations.
- Experience within Automotive, Mobility, Software, Electronics, Semiconductor, Technology, or Engineering-intensive environments preferred.
- Demonstrated success in leading large-scale upskilling, reskilling, and capability transformation initiatives.
- Relevant certifications in Learning, AI, Project Management, Systems Engineering, Agile, Data Analytics, or Change Management will be advantageous.
