Job summary

Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India Private Limited is seeking a Software & Process Intelligence Engineer to analyze supply chain datasets and develop data-driven solutions. You will collaborate with stakeholders to translate challenges into analytical use cases and design dashboards with KPIs for actionable insights.

You will work with product owners, data engineers and development teams to ensure scalable implementations, leveraging process mining tools and a strong SDLC background.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Supply Chain Management or a related discipline
• Strong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving capability
• Excellent communication skills to present insights to technical and business stakeholders
• Exposure to process mining and operational intelligence platforms such as Celonis

Role –Software Engineer – Supply Chain Digitalization

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze datasets to identify trends, bottlenecks, risks and improvement opportunities across supply chain processes

• Partner with product owners, data engineers and development teams to ensure scalable implementation of solutions

Required Skills and Experience

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Supply Chain Management or a related discipline

• 0-3 years of professional experience in Analytics, Data Science, Operations Research, Supply Chain Analytics or Digital Application development
• Good understadning of SDLC, software development process, bridging backend and fronent development
• Knowledge of supply chain processes including planning, logistics, inventory management or manufacturing operations
• Strong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving capability
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present analytical insights to technical and business stakeholders
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Exposure to process mining and operational intelligence platforms such as Celonis
• Knowledge of Mercedes-Benz business processes, systems and digital transformation initiatives would be an advantage
