Job summary

Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India Private Limited is seeking a Software & Process Intelligence Engineer to analyze supply chain data, collaborate with stakeholders, and design dashboards that drive actionable insights. The role focuses on translating operational challenges into analytical use cases and scalable data solutions.

You will work with cross-functional teams including product owners and data engineers, contributing to digitalization initiatives across the supply chain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Supply Chain Management or related field.
• 0-3 years of experience in Analytics, Data Science, OR, SCM analytics, or digital app development.
• Understanding of SDLC and translating business challenges to data-driven solutions.

• Analyze datasets to identify trends, bottlenecks, risks and improvement opportunities across supply chain processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate challenges into analytical use cases and data-driven solutions.
• Design and develop dashboards, KPIs and visualization to enable actionable insights.

Role –Software Engineer – Supply Chain Digitalization

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze datasets to identify trends, bottlenecks, risks and improvement opportunities across supply chain processes
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate operational challenges into analytical use cases and data-driven solutions
• Design and develop dashboards, KPIs and visualization solutions to enable actionable business insights
• Partner with product owners, data engineers and development teams to ensure scalable implementation of solutions

Required Skills and Experience

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Supply Chain Management or a related discipline

• 0-3 years of professional experience in Analytics, Data Science, Operations Research, Supply Chain Analytics or Digital Application development
• Good understadning of SDLC, software development process, bridging backend and fronent development
• Knowledge of supply chain processes including planning, logistics, inventory management or manufacturing operations
• Strong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving capability
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present analytical insights to technical and business stakeholders
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Exposure to process mining and operational intelligence platforms such as Celonis
• Knowledge of Mercedes-Benz business processes, systems and digital transformation initiatives would be an advantage
