Job summary

Unitary Cold Storages in Patna is seeking a Customer Service & P&I Professional to oversee end-to-end cold room projects. You will handle planning, coordinating with the materials department, and ensure timely installation and hand-over to customers.

The role requires knowledge of refrigeration, project management skills, costing capability, and basic AutoCAD proficiency to prepare drawings and secure approvals as part of the service delivery and site audits.

Qualifications

• B.Tech or equivalent degree required.
• 3 years of relevant experience in refrigeration and cold storages.
• Exposure to planning, installation, and project coordination.

Responsibilities

• Experience of service delivery for cold room and cold storages.
• End-to-end planning and coordination with materials and factory.
• Provide drawings and obtain approvals, conduct safety/quality audits.
• Train channel and associates; manage installation costs and payments.
• Support NAD team with site visits, estimations, and post-delivery processes.
• Monitor escalations and drive timely hand‑overs of sites.

Job Description

• Knowledge of Refrigeration with exposure to planning and installation of cold rooms.
• Project management skills – selection of units and the required installation accessories and knowledge of heat‑load calculations.
• Costing skills, resolution for technical troubleshooting.
• Interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Basic knowledge of Auto CAD.

Key Responsibilities

• Experience of service delivery for cold room and cold storages.
• Responsible for end‑to‑end completion of low side work (including planning, coordinating with materials department, raising PR and ICO to factory) as per the contract.
• Provide drawings to customers and obtain necessary approvals.
• Carry out installation audits to comply with safety and quality standards.
• Conduct timely training programmes for the channel and associates for skill up‑gradation.
• Release work orders, control installation costs within the budgeted value, ensure timely payments to vendors, and collect low side payments from customers.
• Support NAD team in site visits, estimation and post‑delivery installation processes.
• Track, monitor and ensure closure of escalations.
• Develop new associates to ensure timely installation and hand‑over of the sites.

Qualifications
