Job summary

Blue Star is seeking an experienced professional in Nagpur for CSD CS and P&I related to rail and processing units. The role requires hands-on refrigeration knowledge, cold room planning, and end‑to‑end project management the field operations entail site coordination with materials and factory teams.

The candidate will handle scope from planning and drawings to approvals, installation audits and post-delivery support, ensuring safety, quality standards and timely closure of escalations.

Qualifications

• B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical degree required.
• Experience in refrigeration systems and cold rooms.
• Knowledge of heat load calculations.
• Strong planning, installation and project management skills.
• Ability to coordinate with materials and factory teams.

Responsibilities

• Experience of service delivery for cold room and cold storages.
• End-to-end planning of low side work including materials, PR and ICO to factory.
• Provide drawings to customers and obtain approvals.
• Perform installation audits to ensure Safety and Quality Standards.
• Conduct training for channel and associates for upskilling.
• Release work orders and manage installation costs within budget.
• Support NAD team with site visits, estimation, and post-delivery installation.
• Monitor escalations and ensure timely closure.
• Develop new associates to ensure timely installation and hand-over.

SKILLS:
>Knowledge of Refrigeration with exposure to planning and installation of cold rooms.
>Project management skills - selection of units and the required installation accessories and knowledge of Heat load calculations
>Costing Skills, Resolution for technical trouble shooting
>Interpersonal and negotiation Skills
>Basic knowledge of Auto CAD including "square meter "calculations.
>Knowledge of "Cold Rooms".
>Understand the dimensions of Cold Rooms.
KEY RESPONSIBILITY:
>Experience of Service delivery for cold room and cold storages
>Responsible for end to end completion of low side work (This includes Planning, coordinating with materials department, raise PR and ICO to factory) as per the contract
>Responsible to provide drawings to the customers and take necessary approvals
>Carry out Installation audits to comply to the Safety and Quality Standards
>Conduct timely training programme for the channel and associates for skill upgradation
>Release work orders, control installation costs within the budgeted value and ensure timely payments to vendors and collection of low side payments from the Customers.
>Support NAD team in timely site visits, estimation and post delivery installation process.
>Track , monitor and ensure closure of escalations
>Develop new associates to ensure timely installation and handing over of the sites
