Job summary

GE HealthCare is seeking a Field Service Engineer based in Vijayawada to maintain and service multi-modality medical equipment at customer sites. You will troubleshoot complex systems, manage FMI/PMS documentation, and complete administrative tasks with accuracy while building strong customer relationships.

The role requires 3+ years of field experience in CT/Cathlab modalities and a degree-equivalent qualification. Relocation assistance may be provided.

All resources, and logistics required to perform services and maintenance activities on customers' site/property. These activities contribute to, maintain, repair and refurbish sold or existing products. Includes all types of maintenance service (preventive and remedial), manage maintenance facilities and field services engineering. Impacts quality of own work and the work of others on the team. Executes standard operational/technical tasks typically subject to instructions and work routines. Roles and Responsibilities

In this role you will be responsible for: Maintaining all models specific to Multi- Modality Equipment in the assigned area. Total system level troubleshooting on complex multi-symptom problems. Completing all administration tasks on time. Ensures timely completion of FMIs (Field Modification Instructions) and PMS (Prevent to Maintains Service) inspections documentation for assigned accounts. Developing conceptual knowledge of professional discipline. May include support roles with specialized expertise or technical knowledge in broad area. Having general knowledge of business developed through education or past experience. Understands how work of own team contributes to the area. Resolving issues using established procedures. Consults supervisor or more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters. Collaborating with others to solve issues. For customer facing roles, develops strong customer relationships and serves as the interface between customer and GE. Exchanges technical information asks questions and checks for understanding.

The incumbent will be based out of Vijayawada.

Required Qualifications

This role requires 3 plus years of field experience in CT/Cathlab Modality is preferred. Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college ( or a high school diploma with relevant experience).
