Job summary

GE HealthCare is seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to perform maintenance and service activities on MR modality equipment at customer sites. You will troubleshoot complex multi-symptom issues, ensure timely completion of FMI/PMS documentation, and maintain models across the assigned area.

Coordination with supervisors for issues outside defined parameters is expected. The role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with 5+ years in MR modality field service preferred,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited university (or high school diploma with relevant experience).
• 5+ years of field experience in MR Modality is preferred.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining all MR Modality equipment models in the assigned area.
• Total system level troubleshooting on complex multi-symptom problems.
• Complete all administration tasks on time, including documentation for FMIs and PMS inspections.
• Develop conceptual knowledge of the professional discipline and support roles with specialized expertise.
• Collaborate with others to solve issues and serve as the interface between customer and GE.

Job Description Summary All resources, and logistics required to perform services and maintenance activities on customers' site/property. These activities contribute to, maintain, repair and refurbish sold or existing products. Includes all types of maintenance service (preventive and remedial), manage maintenance facilities and field services engineering. Impacts quality of own work and the work of others on the team. Executes standard operational/technical tasks typically subject to instructions and work routines. Roles and Responsibilities:

• Maintaining all models specific to MR Modality Equipment in the assigned area.
• Total system level troubleshooting on complex multi-symptom problems.
• Completing all administration tasks on time.
• Ensures timely completion of FMIs (Field Modification Instructions) and PMS (Preventive Maintenance Service) inspections documentation for assigned accounts.
• Developing conceptual knowledge of professional discipline.
• May include support roles with specialized expertise or technical knowledge in broad area.
• Having general knowledge of business developed through education or past experience.
• Understands how work of own team contributes to the area.
• Resolving issues using established procedures.
• Consults supervisor or more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters.
• Collaborating with others to solve issues.
• For customer facing roles, develops strong customer relationships and serves as the interface between customer and GE.
• Exchanges technical information asks questions and checks for understanding.

Educational Qualification:

Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma with relevant experience).

Required Qualifications:

This role requires 5 plus years of field experience in MR Modality is preferred.

Desired Characteristics:

• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
