Salary Range- 6,00,000- 8,00,000(Per Annum CTC)

We are looking for a dynamic, target-oriented, and relationship-focused Customer Relations Manager (CRM) to drive institutional engagement and business development across colleges and universities in the assigned region.

The CRM will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with Training & Placement Officers (TPOs), Principals, Heads of Institutions, Deans, and other senior stakeholders. The role involves regular institutional visits, understanding client requirements, presenting organizational offerings, driving partnerships, negotiating and facilitating MOUs and institutional agreements, and ensuring long-term client relationships.

This is a field-intensive role involving extensive travel. Candidates who genuinely enjoy travelling, meeting new people, interacting with senior stakeholders, building rapport, and developing long-term professional relationships will be well suited for this position.

Key Responsibilities
1. Institutional Relationship Management
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with TPOs, Principals, Deans, Heads of Institutions, and other key decision-makers across colleges and universities.
  • Conduct regular face-to-face meetings and institutional visits to understand client requirements and identify opportunities.
  • Build strong rapport and act as a trusted point of contact for assigned institutions.
  • Maintain regular engagement with existing clients to strengthen relationships and identify opportunities for continued collaboration.
  • Ensure high levels of client satisfaction through timely communication and effective resolution of concerns.
2. Business Development & Sales
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across colleges and universities within the assigned territory.
  • Understand institutional requirements and present suitable solutions aligned with their student, placement, training, and industry engagement needs.
  • Conduct presentations, product/service demonstrations, institutional discussions, and business meetings.
  • Generate leads through institutional visits, references, networking, events, academic forums, and other relevant channels.
  • Follow up consistently with prospective institutions and convert opportunities into successful business engagements.
  • Achieve assigned sales, revenue, and institutional acquisition targets.
3. MOU & Partnership Management
  • Initiate and facilitate discussions with institutions for MOUs, partnership agreements, and other institutional collaborations.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely preparation and execution of required documentation.
  • Drive the MOU process from initial discussion through negotiation, closure, and signing.
  • Maintain a database of institutional agreements and track renewal and further engagement opportunities.
  • Explore opportunities to expand existing partnerships into additional programs and services.
4. Client Visits & Extensive Travel
  • Travel extensively across the assigned territory to meet colleges, universities, and institutional stakeholders.
  • Plan and execute regular field visits based on business priorities and potential opportunities.
  • Attend institutional meetings, placement-related events, college functions, seminars, conferences, and other relevant forums.
  • Represent the organization professionally during all institutional interactions.
  • Develop strong local networks and use them to identify new business opportunities.
5. Sales Planning & Execution
  • Develop territory-wise plans to achieve assigned business and institutional acquisition targets.
  • Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and ensure timely follow-up at every stage of the sales cycle.
  • Track leads, meetings, proposals, negotiations, and closures using the organization's CRM/ATS or other reporting systems.
  • Monitor market developments and identify emerging opportunities within the assigned territory.
  • Work closely with the Regional Sales Manager to execute regional sales strategies.
6. Client Servicing & Internal Coordination
  • Understand client expectations and coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth delivery of committed services.
  • Act as the primary relationship owner for assigned institutions.
  • Escalate critical client concerns to the Regional Sales Manager and relevant internal teams when required.
  • Ensure commitments made to clients are properly communicated and followed through.
  • Build long-term partnerships by consistently delivering value and maintaining professional relationships.
7. Reporting & Performance Management
  • Maintain accurate records of institutional visits, meetings, leads, opportunities, proposals, MOUs, and closures.
  • Submit regular reports on sales performance, pipeline, client interactions, and market developments.
  • Provide feedback to the Regional Sales Manager on customer requirements, competitor activities, and market trends.
  • Prepare periodic forecasts and updates on the assigned territory.

Qualification & Experience
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in any discipline; MBA/PGDM in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field will be an advantage.
  • Experience: 2–6 years of experience in sales, business development, institutional relations, client relationship management, or a similar role.
  • Experience in the education, higher education, training, recruitment, EdTech, or B2B services sector will be preferred.
  • Candidates with proven experience in institutional sales and relationship management will be given preference.
