Job summary

apply is seeking an Implementation Leader with strong US Payroll and HCM experience to lead end-to-end implementation programs for US-based clients migrating to an HCM/Payroll platform.

You will manage discovery, planning, go-live, and stabilization, coordinating cross-functional teams across Payroll, HCM, HR, Benefits, Integrations, Data Migration and Technology.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in US Payroll implementation and/or HCM implementation.
• Proven ability to manage end-to-end implementation cycles for US clients.
• Experience with migrations between payroll/HCM providers and platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end implementation lifecycle for US Payroll/HCM clients from discovery to go-live and stabilization.
• Manage migrations from providers/platforms (e.g., ADP) to target platforms.
• Partner with clients and internal teams to define solutions and timelines.
• Govern projects with milestones, risks, dependencies, issues, and communications.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across Payroll, HCM, HR, Benefits, Integrations, Data Migration, and Technology.
• Ensure data migration, configuration, testing, parallel payroll, validation, and go-live readiness.
• Serve as senior client contact and manage implementation risks for a smooth transition.
• Lead post-go-live stabilization and handoff to service delivery.

Implementation Leader US Payroll / HCM

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Implementation Leader with strong US Payroll and HCM implementation experience to lead end-to-end implementation programs for US-based clients migrating to an HCM/Payroll platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end implementation lifecycle for US Payroll/HCM clients, from discovery and planning through go-live and stabilization.
• Manage implementation projects involving migration from existing payroll/HCM providers to platforms such as ADP.
• Partner with clients and internal teams to understand requirements, define solutions, and establish implementation timelines.
• Lead project governance, including milestones, risks, dependencies, issues, and stakeholder communication.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across Payroll, HCM, HR, Benefits, Integrations, Data Migration, and Technology.
• Ensure successful data migration, configuration, testing, parallel payroll, validation, and go-live readiness.
• Act as a senior point of contact for client stakeholders throughout the implementation journey.
• Identify and proactively manage implementation risks to ensure a smooth transition and positive client experience.
• Lead post-go-live stabilization and transition the client to the ongoing service delivery organization.

• Experience with payroll/HCM migrations from one provider/platform to another.
• Strong understanding of US Payroll processes, controls, compliance, and implementation methodology.
• Demonstrated experience in project/program management and stakeholder management.
• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and client-management skills.
• Experience working with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.

Preferred

• Experience with ADP, Workday, UKG, Ceridian/Dayforce, Paychex, or similar HCM/Payroll platforms.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or relevant project management certification is a plus.
