Job summary

Cyient is seeking an experienced CAD engineer in Hyderabad to contribute to Creo-based design projects. This role requires hands-on Creo 7.0 work, strong solid modeling, and expertise in advanced surfacing for complex components.

Ideal candidates will have 3+ years of Creo experience, knowledge of plastics components and manufacturing processes, GD&T proficiency, and experience with Windchill PDM to manage parts and assemblies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years hands-on experience in Creo 7.0 or later.
• Expertise in solid modeling & detailing.
• Advanced surfacing (blends, boundary blends, sweeps, freeform, style).
• Large assembly management experience.
• Drawing creation proficiency.
• Good knowledge of plastics components and manufacturing processes.
• GD&T application per engineering standards.
• Working knowledge of Windchill PDM.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on Creo 7.0 design work.
• Develop and maintain solid models, detailing, and drawings.
• Apply advanced surfacing techniques for complex parts.
• Manage large assemblies and ensure integration.
• Create and maintain drawings.
• Apply GD&T per standards and ensure design feasibility.
• Collaborate with plastic component teams and Windchill PDM usage.

• Solid Modeling & Detailing
• Advanced Surfacing (Blends, Boundary Blends, Sweeps, Freeform, Style, Merge/Inheritance)
• Large Assembly Management
• Drawing Creation
• Good Knowledge Of:
• Plastic components such as consoles, fenders, fan shrouds, hood, and interior parts
• Plastics manufacturing and assembly processes
• GD&T application as per engineering standards
• Working knowledge of Windchill PDM

Key Competencies:
