Job summary

Cyient Hyderabad is seeking an experienced Design Engineer with hands-on Creo expertise to develop piping, sheet metal, and large assemblies for customer projects. You will leverage 3D modelling and detailing to create robust components and ensure fit, form and function.

Responsibilities include GD&T per ASME Y14.5, welding symbols, hydraulic layouts, windchill data management, and frequent field visits for long-term assignments.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Creo design with minimum 3 years of experience.
• Experience in Creo Piping (Tube & Hose Routing) and Sheet Metal.
• Proven ability to manage large assemblies and create detailed 3D models.
• Knowledge of hydraulic layouts, weldment drawings, and ASME GD&T (Y14.5).

Responsibilities

• Hands-on Creo design with minimum 3 years of experience.
• Create and modify piping (Tube & Hose Routing) in Creo Piping.
• Design Sheet Metal components and manage large assemblies.
• Develop 3D models and detailing drawings.
• Apply GD&T per ASME Y14.5 and ensure weldment drawings.
• Work with Windchill PDM for data management.
• Select components for hydraulic systems (pipes, hoses, fittings).
• Prepare and present design outcomes at customer sites as needed.

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
