Job summary

Cyient is seeking a skilled design engineer in Hyderabad with 3+ years in heavy equipment or automotive/ agricultural equipment design. The role requires hands-on Creo experience (3 years), strong solid and sheet metal modelling, and the ability to manage large assemblies.

You will also create structural/weldment drawings, work with flat patterns, and apply GD&T per ASME Y14.5. Windchill PDM exposure is preferred and independent, clear communication is essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years BE in Heavy Equipment, Automotive Engine Design or Agricultural Equipment design.
• Creo 3.0/4.0 hands-on experience for at least 3 years.
• Solid modelling and detailing experience.
• Sheet metal modelling and detailing experience.
• Handling of large assemblies.
• Ability to design sheet metal components/assemblies using Part/Advanced Part/Sheet metal modelling techniques.
• Experience creating structural and weldment drawings.
• Knowledge of flat patterns, punch form, die form, and bend order tables.
• Knowledge of sheet metal manufacturing processes.
• Exposure to welding symbols.
• Execution experience of Windchill PDM.
• Working knowledge of GD&T per ASME Y14.5.
• Independent work executor with minimal supervision.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
