Job summary

Intellectual Capital HR Consulting Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a Credit Manager for the SME department in Kolkata. You will prepare credit appraisal notes, perform financial analyses, and present proposals for sanctioning forums. You will interact with authorities, manage portfolio renewal, and ensure adherence to policies while guiding a small team.

The role involves coordinating with business teams, conducting risk assessments, and visiting units for inspections to support informed lending decisions.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of Credit Appraisal notes for SME.
• Credit appraisal including financial analysis to assess solvency, liquidity and repayment capacity.
• Present proposals to sanctioning forums and obtain approvals.
• Interact with approving authorities to provide information for decision making.
• Manage renewal of accounts and portfolio enhancement.
• Align decisions with business requirements while following policies.
• Team handling 3–4 people.
• Discuss terms with business for risk assessments.
• Collect information for CRANs from customers.
• Monitor accounts per sanctioning authority.
• Prepare Monthly/Quarterly monitoring reports.
• Escalate with action plan for non-compliances.
• Visit units and submit inspection reports.
• Address escalations related to risk assessments.

Role : Credit Manager

Position Grade -Depends

Job Role:

• Preparation of Credit Appraisal notes forSME.
• Ticket Size Handled would be up to 1 to 100 CR.
• Credit appraisal including financial analysis to understand the solvency, liquidity position and repayment capacity of the entity, preparation of appraisal notes, credit checks etc.
• As per Approval Authorizations, presenting the proposal to various sanctioning forums and get it sanctioned from approving authority satisfying all their queries.
• To interact with approving authority and provide them with required information for better decision making and engaging in regular discussions to give them an independent view of the credit / economic developments.
• Manage and ensure timely renewal of accounts and enhancement of portfolio
• To align decision making with business requirements without compromising on quality of decision making or compromising on laid down policies by engaging in regular discussions with the businessteams.
• TeamHandling3 – 4 people
• Discuss with business on Terms and Conditions for risk assessments
• Discuss with customers for obtention of information for preparation of CRANs.
• Monitor the accounts based on the terms stipulated by Sanctioning Authority.
• Prepare Monthly/Quarterly Monitoring Reports for the portfolio.
• Escalate with action plan for non compliances.
• Visit the units and submit inspection reports.
• Manage and address any escalations related to risk assessments
