Job summary

Intellectual Capital HR Consulting Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a Credit Manager for the SME department in Chennai. You will prepare credit appraisal notes, analyze financial statements, and present proposals to sanctioning forums.

You’ll lead a 3–4 member team, ensure timely renewals, monitor accounts, and escalate non-compliances. Strong communication and capital products knowledge are essential. Experience in credit risk, CA/MBA preferred, and ability to interact with business teams for risk

Responsibilities

• Prepare Credit Appraisal notes for SME.
• Analyze solvency, liquidity and repayment capacity of entities.
• Present proposals to sanctioning forums for approval.
• Interact with approving authorities to provide necessary information.
• Ensure timely renewal of accounts and portfolio enhancement.
• Align risk decisions with business requirements while following policies.
• Lead a team of 3–4 members.
• Discuss terms for risk assessments with business teams.
• Collect information for CRANs and monitor accounts per sanctioning terms.
• Prepare Monthly/Quarterly portfolio monitoring reports.
• Escalate non-compliances with action plans.
• Visit units and submit inspection reports.
• Address escalations related to risk assessments.

Role : Credit Manager

Position Grade -Depends

Job Role:

• Preparation of Credit Appraisal notes forSME.
• Ticket Size Handled would be up to 1 to 100 CR.
• Credit appraisal including financial analysis to understand the solvency, liquidity position and repayment capacity of the entity, preparation of appraisal notes, credit checks etc.
• As per Approval Authorizations, presenting the proposal to various sanctioning forums and get it sanctioned from approving authority satisfying all their queries.
• To interact with approving authority and provide them with required information for better decision making and engaging in regular discussions to give them an independent view of the credit / economic developments.
• Manage and ensure timely renewal of accounts and enhancement of portfolio
• To align decision making with business requirements without compromising on quality of decision making or compromising on laid down policies by engaging in regular discussions with the businessteams.

• Discuss with business on Terms and Conditions for risk assessments
• Discuss with customers for obtention of information for preparation of CRANs.
• Monitor the accounts based on the terms stipulated by Sanctioning Authority.
• Prepare Monthly/Quarterly Monitoring Reports for the portfolio.
• Escalate with action plan for non compliances.
• Visit the units and submit inspection reports.
• Manage and address any escalations related to risk assessments
