Job summary

Intellectual Capital HR Consulting Pvt. Ltd. invites applications for the role of Credit Manager in the SME department. The incumbent will prepare credit appraisals, analyze financial solvency and liquidity, and present proposals to sanctioning authorities to secure approvals.

Responsibilities include client interactions, renewal and portfolio enhancement, and guiding a 3–4 member team while ensuring compliance with policies and risk controls.

Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant or MBA qualification required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical abilities with working capital knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Prepare credit appraisal notes for SME clients.
• Handle ticket sizes up to 1–100 CR.
• Conduct financial analysis to assess solvency, liquidity and repayment capacity.
• Present proposals to sanctioning forums and obtain approvals.
• Interact with authorities providing information for decision making.
• Manage timely renewal of accounts and portfolio enhancement.
• Coordinate with business teams to align decisions with policies.
• Supervise a team of 3–4 members.
• Discuss risk assessment terms with business teams.
• Collect information for CRANs from customers.
• Monitor accounts per sanctioning authority terms.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly portfolio monitoring reports.
• Escalate issues with corrective action plans.
• Visit units and submit inspection reports.
• Address escalations related to risk assessments.

Job Role:

• Preparation of Credit Appraisal notes forSME.
• Ticket Size Handled would be up to 1 to 100 CR.
• Credit appraisal including financial analysis to understand the solvency, liquidity position and repayment capacity of the entity, preparation of appraisal notes, credit checks etc.
• As per Approval Authorizations, presenting the proposal to various sanctioning forums and get it sanctioned from approving authority satisfying all their queries.
• To interact with approving authority and provide them with required information for better decision making and engaging in regular discussions to give them an independent view of the credit / economic developments.
• Manage and ensure timely renewal of accounts and enhancement of portfolio
• To align decision making with business requirements without compromising on quality of decision making or compromising on laid down policies by engaging in regular discussions with the businessteams.

• Discuss with business on Terms and Conditions for risk assessments
• Discuss with customers for obtention of information for preparation of CRANs.
• Monitor the accounts based on the terms stipulated by Sanctioning Authority.
• Prepare Monthly/Quarterly Monitoring Reports for the portfolio.
• Escalate with action plan for non compliances.
• Visit the units and submit inspection reports.
• Manage and address any escalations related to risk assessments
