Job summary

Intellectual Capital HR Consulting Pvt. Ltd. invites applications for the role of Credit Manager in the SME department.

Based in India, you will prepare credit appraisal notes for SME clients, analyze solvency and liquidity, and assess repayment capacity. You will present proposals to sanctioning forums and secure approvals while upholding policy guidelines and risk controls. You will lead a small team, coordinate with business teams on terms of risk assessments, obtain information for CRANs,

Qualifications

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• CA or MBA with exposure to credit appraisal.
• Strong analytical ability to assess solvency and liquidity.
• Good understanding of working capital products.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of Credit Appraisal notes for SME.
• Credit appraisal including financial analysis to understand solvency, liquidity position and repayment capacity of the entity, preparation of appraisal notes, credit checks etc.
• Present proposals to sanctioning forums and get it sanctioned from approving authority satisfying all their queries.
• Interact with approving authority and provide them with required information for better decision making and engaging in regular discussions to give them an independent view of the credit/economic developments.
• Manage and ensure timely renewal of accounts and enhancement of portfolio.
• Align decision making with business requirements without compromising on quality or on laid down policies by engaging in regular discussions with the businessteams.
• Team handling 3–4 people.
• Discuss with business on Terms and Conditions for risk assessments.
• Discuss with customers for obtention of information for preparation of CRANs.
• Monitor the accounts based on the terms stipulated by Sanctioning Authority.
• Prepare Monthly/Quarterly Monitoring Reports for the portfolio.
• Escalate with action plan for non compliances.
• Visit the units and submit inspection reports.
• Manage and address any escalations related to risk assessments

Job Role:

• Preparation of Credit Appraisal notes forSME.
• Ticket Size Handled would be up to 1 to 100 CR.
• Credit appraisal including financial analysis to understand the solvency, liquidity position and repayment capacity of the entity, preparation of appraisal notes, credit checks etc.
• As per Approval Authorizations, presenting the proposal to various sanctioning forums and get it sanctioned from approving authority satisfying all their queries.
• To interact with approving authority and provide them with required information for better decision making and engaging in regular discussions to give them an independent view of the credit / economic developments.
• Manage and ensure timely renewal of accounts and enhancement of portfolio
