Job summary

Intellectual Capital HR Consulting Pvt. Ltd. seeks a Credit Analyst to perform underwriting for SME and large corporate clients in Chennai.

You will prepare credit appraisal notes, discuss risk terms with the business, gather data for CRANs, and monitor portfolios according to sanctioning authority requirements. The role requires proficiency in Excel-based financial modeling, exposure to project finance or infra sector analysis, and professional qualifications such as CA/MBA/CFA, along with

Qualifications

• Experience in Credit Underwriting for SME and Large Corporate.
• Proficiency in financial modeling using Excel.
• Exposure to Project Finance or Infra sector credit analysis preferred.
• Professional qualifications: CA, MBA, or CFA.
• Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare credit appraisal notes for SME/ Large Corporate.
• Discuss terms and conditions for risk assessments with business.
• Collect information from customers for preparation of CRANs.
• Monitor accounts per sanctioning authority terms.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly monitoring reports for the portfolio.
• Escalate non-compliances with an action plan.
• Visit units and submit inspection reports.
• Manage escalations related to risk assessments.

Job Role:

• Preparation of Credit Appraisal notes for SME/ Large Corporate.
• Discuss with business on Terms and Conditions for risk assessments
• Discuss with customers for obtention of information for preparation of CRANs.
• Monitor the accounts based on the terms stipulated by the Sanctioning Authority.
• Prepare Monthly/Quarterly Monitoring Reports for the portfolio.
• Escalate with an action plan for non compliances.
• Visit the units and submit inspection reports.
• Manage and address any escalations related to risk assessments

Job Requirements:

• Experience required in Credit Underwriting for SME/ Large Corporate.
• Working knowledge of Excel for preparation of Financial Models
• Experience in Project Finance and / or Infra sector credit analysis would be preferred (not mandatory).
• CA/ MBA/ CFA
• Good verbal, written communication & presentation skills.
