BookLeaf Publishing, Delhi, seeks a skilled Social Media Manager to lead our monthly content plan across Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn and Pinterest for Indian first-time authors and a US female audience. This hands-on role drives 30–40 pieces monthly while shaping the creator pipeline and author storytelling.
You will report monthly on growth metrics and adjust the plan to maximize reach and signups. On-site at our Jhandewalan office, 10 AM–6 PM.
BookLeaf Publishing is one of India's largest self-publishing platforms — 1,200+ books published every month, a 22,000+ title catalogue, in-house printing in Delhi, and global distribution through Ingram. We were featured on Shark Tank India, Season 4.
We're bootstrapped and profitable, and we're now building our audience in the US alongside India. This role sits at the centre of that.
The calendar. You own the monthly content plan across Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Pinterest — for two distinct audiences. In India, first-time authors and poets, largely 20s and 30s. In the US, a mostly female audience with a median age around 36. Same product, very different content.
The output. 30–40 pieces a month. You'll create a meaningful share of it yourself — this is a hands‑on role, not a briefing‑only one.
The creator pipeline. Source and brief UGC creators on Collabstr, JoinBrands, and Fiverr, review their output, and keep cost-per-usable-video inside budget.
Author storytelling. Our best content comes from our own authors — launch reels, award announcements, first-copy-in-hand moments. You'll build a repeatable way to capture and publish these.
The numbers. Follower growth, reach, saves and shares, profile‑to‑website clicks, and content‑attributed signups. You'll report on these monthly and change the plan when they don't move.
The team. Manage 1–2 interns and freelance editors as we scale.
