Job summary

Turbostart Bengaluru invites a Social Media & Video Editing Intern to join our fast-paced content team. You will shoot, edit short-form videos, manage Instagram content, and craft viral formats for multiple startup campaigns.

You will use CapCut, Premiere Pro, and AI tools to accelerate production, while building a strong portfolio and gaining exposure to real startup challenges across our portfolio. This 3-month internship offers a hands-on learning path and potential for full-time

What we are looking for:

Role: Social Media & Video Editing Intern

We're looking for a sharp, confident, and creative Video Editing & Social Media Intern to join our team. This role sits at the intersection of short-form video production, content creation, and social media strategy — perfect for someone who shoots, edits, thinks in formats, and is always three trends ahead.

This is a fast-output role. We move quickly, use AI tools to accelerate production, and expect the same energy from our team. We're not looking for someone to just execute — we want someone with opinions, creative instincts, and the drive to own their work.

Duration: 3 Months (with a potential for extension)

What You'll Do

• Shoot and edit short-form video content - Reels, Stories, and behind-the-scenes at events
• Own and execute the Instagram content calendar - Posting, captions, and hashtags
• Develop creative concepts for campaigns, challenges, and viral formats
• Monitor social trends, use AI tools to move fast on them, and execute before the moment passes
• Repurpose event footage into platform-optimised short clips
• Track content performance (views, saves, shares) and iterate based on data

Who You Are

• Fluent in short-form video editing - CapCut, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar
• Comfortable using AI tools to speed up your workflow scripting, editing, captioning, ideation (CapCut AI, Runway, ChatGPT, whatever gets the job done faster)
• Deeply plugged into Instagram: trending audios, formats, and algorithm shifts
• Comfortable behind a camera — phone or DSLR
• Confident with your ideas and not precious about feedback
• Dedicated, self-driven, and someone who takes ownership without being told twice
• Fast. High output without compromising quality is non-negotiable here
• Recent graduate or self-taught with a strong portfolio

Bonus: Canva, After Effects, or Meta Business Suite experience.
