Job summary

BookLeaf Publishing in Delhi offers an internship for a social media video creator. You will shoot 15-20 short-form videos monthly, be on-camera or direct others, and manage publishing across Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Pinterest.

The role emphasizes creating engaging content, tracking performance, and writing hooks/captions in English, with Hindi as a plus. On-site at our Jhandewalan office, 10 AM to 6 PM, with strong performers offered a full-time role.

Qualifications

• 0–1 years of experience. Students and recent graduates are welcome.
• A portfolio, even a personal one. A page with 800 real followers and good editing beats a resume with no links
• Comfortable in CapCut, Premiere Rush, or equivalent. Canva for statics
• You write well in English. Hindi is a plus
• You read. This role is about books and the people who write them, and it shows immediately when someone doesn't care about that

Responsibilities

• Shoot and edit 15-20 short-form videos a month for Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts
• Be on camera yourself, or direct whoever is
• Track what's working in the book/writing/BookTok space - hooks, formats, audio, creators - and turn that into ideas we can shoot this week
• Write captions and hooks that make people stop scrolling
• Schedule and publish across Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Pinterest
• Reply to comments and DMs, and pass genuine author queries to our customer success team
• Send a simple weekly report: reach, saves, shares, follows, profile clicks - and your read on why the numbers moved

BookLeaf Publishing is one of India's largest self-publishing platforms. We publish 1,200+ new books every month, our catalogue has crossed 22,000 titles, and our authors write from India, the US, and the UK. We print in-house in Delhi and distribute worldwide through Ingram. You may have seen us on Shark Tank India, Season 4.

Most of our authors are first-time writers. Our job is to make publishing feel possible for them - and a lot of that happens on Instagram.

What you\'ll actually do
