Jewellery Retail Private Ltd. is hiring a Counter Sales Executive for its stores in Kolkata.

The role involves greeting customers, understanding requirements, and assisting in selecting Gold, Diamond, Silver and Platinum jewellery while maintaining professional counter standards.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Bengali and English.
• Excellent communication and customer-handling skills.
• Presentable, polite and customer-friendly personality.
• Comfortable interacting with customers at the jewellery counter.
• Sales experience in jewellery/retail is preferred; freshers can also apply.

Responsibilities

• Attend customers at the jewellery counter and understand their requirements.
• Assist customers in selecting suitable jewellery products.
• Handle counter sales of Gold, Diamond, Silver and Platinum Jewellery.
• Explain product features, designs and relevant details to customers.
• Present jewellery professionally and maintain counter standards.
• Build positive customer relationships and provide courteous service.
• Coordinate with the store manager and team for smooth sales operations.
• Support billing and other store activities as assigned.
• Maintain proper care and handling of jewellery products.
• Participate in periodic inventory checks as needed.

Salary Structure

• Fresher: 8,000 10,000/month 0
• 2 Years: 10,000 14,000/month 2
• 4 Years: 14,000 18,000/month 4+ Years: Salary negotiable based on experience

Additional Sales Incentives

Sales targets will be assigned, with applicable incentives provided in addition to the fixed salary.

Job Responsibilities

• Attend customers at the jewellery counter and understand their requirements.
• Assist customers in selecting suitable jewellery products.
• Handle counter sales of Gold, Diamond, Silver and Platinum Jewellery.
• Explain product features, designs and relevant details to customers.
• Present jewellery professionally and maintain proper counter standards.
• Build positive customer relationships and provide courteous service.
• Coordinate with the store manager and other team members for smooth sales operations.
• Support billing and other store-related activities as assigned.
• Maintain proper care and handling of jewellery products.
• Participate in periodic inventory checking, approximately 3 times annually, depending on the department assigned.
• Follow company policies, sales procedures and customer-service standards.

Candidate Requirements

• Previous Jewellery / Retail Sales experience preferred Freshers can also apply
