Job summary

Peoplefy Infosolutions seeks a Proposal & Estimation Manager to lead end-to-end techno-commercial bid creation for large EPC projects from Pune. You will coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and project teams to deliver compliant, competitive bids with accurate cost estimations.

Responsibilities include analyzing RFQs, preparing proposals, estimating costs for materials and execution, and mitigating risks while aligning with pricing strategies.

Purpose / Mission of the Role

The Proposal & Estimation Manager is responsible for leading end-to-end preparation of techno-commercial proposals, accurate cost estimations, and risk evaluation for large EPC projects. This role requires strong coordination with cross-functional teams, deep understanding of engineering specifications, and the ability to deliver competitive, compliant, and high-quality bid

Role Responsibilties

1. Interpret and analyse client RFQs, specifications, and engineering documents.

Technical Competencies

1. Strong knowledge of EPC processes, modular systems, and fabrication standards.
2. Expertise in cost estimation, budgeting, and commercial modelling.
3. Ability to understand engineering drawings, P&IDs, and material standards.
4. Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and estimation tools.
5. Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation skills.
6. Understanding of contract terms, Incoterms, taxes, and duties.
7. Vendor management and negotiation capabilities.
8. Ability to handle high workload and tight deadlines
9. Added advantage- knowledge of use of AI tools for efficient & productive work
