Job summary

Kirloskar Brothers Limited in Maharashtra is seeking a skilled cost estimation professional to lead the cost estimation cell for tenders and projects related to pumps.

You will develop SOPs, prepare tender costs, and support divisional cost control with data-driven analysis, while leveraging SAP Costing and CAD tools to ensure competitive pricing and accurate budgeting.

Qualifications

• Lead the cost estimation cell and define cost estimation SOPs.
• Provide timely factory cost estimates for products.
• Minimize cost overruns during execution through accurate estimation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Standard Operating Procedures
• Estimate costs for tendering special projects (pumps)
• Estimate product costs for tendering SMPD/LPD/Turbine/Spares/Refurbishment
• Price using Dolphin and Cost Calculators
• Prepare costing databases
• Analyze estimation vs execution costs
• Support division with material and IED
• Participate in implementing 5S, QMS, ENMS, kaizen

Role & responsibilities

• Preparation of Standard Operating Procedures
• Cost Estimation of Special Projects for Tendering ( for Pumps Application)
• Product Cost Estimation for Tendering SMPD / LPD / Turbine / Spares / Refurbishment / Replacement of other make Pumps
• Pricing through Dolphin & Cost Calculators
• Preparation of Database
• Analysis of Estimation Vs Execution Costs
• Support to Division (Material, IED)
• Participation in implementing 5s, QMS, ENMS, kaizen

Preferred candidate profile

• Leading the Product Costing cell by defining Cost estimation working procedures.
• Timely support to sectors by providing Estimated Factory Cost of products supplied from plant.
• Estimating cost to minimize cost overrun during execution.
