Qualifications

• 6 to 10 years of relevant experience in finance/business controlling.
• Manufacturing industry experience is mandatory.
• Strong experience in plant finance, manufacturing finance, FPA, costing, budgeting, and MIS.
• Good understanding of P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, costing, and profitability.

Responsibilities

• Drive business and financial performance through analysis, controlling and business partnering.
• Prepare and review monthly MIS, financial reports, dashboards, and management presentations for senior management.
• Oversee product costing, BOM, manufacturing costs, and overhead allocation in a multi-product environment.
• Analyze product-wise and plant-wise profitability, margin and cost variance analysis; identify key drivers.
• Participate in annual budgeting, forecasting and periodic financial planning; monitor actual vs. budgets.
• Monitor inventory valuation, working capital, and supply chain costs to improve cost efficiency and optimize cash flow.
• Identify and drive cost optimization, productivity, and efficiency improvements across manufacturing and operations.
• Partner with plant, operations, procurement, sales, and supply chain teams to support decisions.
• Monitor receivables, payables, and overall working capital; recommend actions.
• Support management in pricing decisions, investment evaluation, and business cases.
• Ensure robust financial controls, reporting accuracy, compliance and adherence to policies.

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Business Controller with strong exposure to manufacturing finance and business controlling. The candidate will be responsible for financial planning, budgeting, costing, MIS, profitability analysis, variance analysis, and providing business insights to senior management.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive business and financial performance through effective analysis controlling, and business partnering.
• Prepare and review monthly MIS, financial reports, dashboards, and management presentations for senior management.
• Oversee product costing, Bill of Materials (BOM), manufacturing costs, and overhead allocation in a multi-product manufacturing environment.
• Analyse product-wise and plant-wise profitability, including margin and cost variance analysis, and identify key performance drivers.
• Enable participate in annual budgeting, forecasting, and periodic financial/business planning monitor actual performance against budgets and forecasts.
• Monitor inventory valuation, working capital, and supply chain costs to improve cost efficiency and optimize cash flow.
• Identify and drive cost optimization, productivity, and efficiency improvement initiatives across manufacturing and business operations.
• Work closely with plant, operations, procurement, sales, and supply chain teams as a finance business partner to support operational and commercial decisions.
• Monitor inventory, receivables, payables, and overall working capital and recommend improvement actions.
• Support management in pricing decisions, investment evaluation, business cases, and strategic initiatives through financial analysis.
• Ensure robust financial controls, reporting accuracy, compliance, and adherence to company policies.

Candidate Profile :

• 6 to 10 years of relevant experience in finance/business controlling.
• CA preferred; MBA Finance / B.Tech
• Manufacturing industry experience is mandatory.
• Strong experience in plant finance, manufacturing finance, FPA, costing, budgeting, and MIS.
• Good understanding of P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, costing, and profitability.
• Strong analytical, communication, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/MIS systems.
• Should be commercially oriented with the ability to translate financial data into actionable business insights.
