Role Description

The Corporate Travel Consultant is a full-time, on-site role based in Bhubaneswar. The consultant will manage end-to-end corporate travel requirements, including itinerary planning, ticketing, hotel bookings, and ground transportation for leisure/MICE travel. Daily responsibilities include corporate sales mainly along with handling inquiries, providing travel advice, preparing cost-effective options, managing changes and cancellations, and ensuring compliance with client travel policies. The role involves using reservation systems, coordinating with vendors and internal stakeholders, resolving travel-related issues promptly, and maintaining accurate records and documentation. The consultant will also support reporting needs, contribute to process improvements, and uphold high standards of customer service.

Qualifications

• Candidate should be comfortable doing hardcore sales, as the role will involve visiting corporates in an around Odisha to collect Ticketing/MICE queires
• Candidates should possess strong skills in Travel Consulting and Travel Management, including advisory capabilities and policy-compliant itinerary planning.
• Candidates should possess skills in Travel Arrangements and Reservations, with proficiency in booking flights, hotels, and ground transport using relevant GDS or online tools.
• Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, manage expectations, and resolve issues efficiently.
• Relevant experience in corporate travel or travel agency operations, preferably serving business clients.
• Knowledge of domestic and international travel regulations, fares, and ticketing procedures.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Comfort with using travel booking platforms, MS Office tools, and basic reporting.
• Graduate degree or equivalent education in tourism, hospitality, business, or a related field is preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team, adapt to fast-paced environments, and maintain a professional, inclusive attitude toward colleagues and clients.
