Job summary

Birlasoft in India (Pune - Hinjawadi) seeks an experienced Oracle HCM Core HR Functional Consultant with 10+ years of expertise in Oracle HCM and Fusion Cloud HCM Core HR. The role covers requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and production support for global HR processes.

Responsibilities include leading SIT/UAT, data migration, cutover, and post-go-live support, plus collaboration with Payroll, Talent, Recruiting, and other HR teams to enable end-to-end

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Oracle HCM.
• Significant experience in Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM Core HR.
• Strong hands-on experience in Global HR, Core HR, Workforce Structures.
• Experience in at least 2 full-cycle Oracle Fusion HCM implementations.
• Understanding of global HR processes and enterprise/workforce structures.
• Experience with HDL, HCM Extracts, SDL.
• Knowledge of OTBI, BI Publisher, approvals, workflows, and HCM security.
• Experience in data migration, testing, cutover, production support.
• Strong stakeholder management and collaboration with HR business users and project leadership.

• Configure Person Management, Employment, Work Relationships, Assignment Management, Transfers, Promotions, Terminations, and Global HR processes.
• Design and configure Workforce Structures, security roles, data access, approvals, and HR transaction flows.
• Support Global HR, localization, and multi-country implementations.
• Configure and support Absence Management and integration with Core HR where required.
• Work closely with Payroll, Talent, Recruiting, Benefits, and Finance for end-to-end processes.

• Prepare functional specifications and collaborate with technical teams on integrations, reports, extensions, and data conversion.

Job Description

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Oracle HCM Core HR Functional Consultant with 10+ years of experience in Oracle HCM, with strong expertise in Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM – Global Human Resources (Core HR). The consultant will be responsible for requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, implementation, testing, deployment, and production support for global HR processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead functional implementation and transformation projects for Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM Core HR.

Conduct business requirement workshops, process analysis, fit-gap assessments, and solution design with HR stakeholders.

Configure and support Enterprise Structures, Legal Employers, Business Units, Departments, Locations, Jobs, Positions, Grades, and Workforce Structures.

Configure Person Management, Employment, Work Relationships, Assignment Management, Transfers, Promotions, Terminations, and Global HR processes.

Design and configure Workforce Structures, security roles, data access, approvals, and HR transaction flows.

Support Global HR, legislative requirements, localization, and multi-country implementations.

Configure and support Absence Management and integration with Core HR where required.

Work closely with Payroll, Talent, Recruiting, Benefits, Compensation, Finance, and other HCM/enterprise teams for end-to-end process integration.

Lead SIT, UAT, defect resolution, data migration, cutover, deployment, and post-go-live support activities.

Prepare functional specifications and collaborate with technical teams on integrations, reports, extensions, and data conversion.

Support reporting requirements using OTBI, BI Publisher, and HCM Extracts.

Lead functional teams, mentor junior consultants, and ensure quality and timely delivery of project milestones.

Required Skills & Experience:

10+ years of experience in Oracle HCM, with significant experience in Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM Core HR.

Strong hands-on experience in Global HR / Core HR, Workforce Structures, Person Management, and Employment processes.

Experience in at least 2 full-cycle Oracle Fusion HCM implementations.

Strong understanding of global HR processes and enterprise/workforce structures.

Experience with HCM Data Loader (HDL), HCM Extracts, Spreadsheet Data Loader (SDL), and functional integration concepts.

Working knowledge of OTBI, BI Publisher, approvals, workflows, and HCM security.

Experience in data migration, testing, cutover, production support, and issue resolution.

Strong stakeholder management and ability to work with HR business users, technical teams, and project leadership.

Excellent analytical, communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Oracle Cloud HCM Core HR certification.

Experience with multi-country/global HCM rollouts and localization requirements.

Knowledge of integrations with Payroll, Recruiting, Talent, Benefits, Time & Labor, Finance, and third-party systems.

Experience working with Agile and/or Oracle implementation methodologies.

Prior experience as a Functional Lead / Solution Lead is preferred.
