Kothari International School is seeking an experienced and dynamic Coordinator for Grades 4 and 5 to provide academic leadership, coordinate grade-level operations, and ensure a positive, engaging and high-quality learning environment.

The role involves overseeing the academic and administrative functioning of Grades 4 and 5, coordinating curriculum planning, mentoring teachers, monitoring progress, and ensuring strong communication with parents and leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Education or a relevant discipline.
• B.Ed. preferred/required.
• Prior experience in a similar Coordinator/Academic Coordinator role is essential.
• Experience handling Grades 4 and 5 or the Primary/Middle School section is an advantage.
• Experience in CBSE, Cambridge or international schools is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the academic and administrative functioning of Grades 4 and 5.
• Coordinate curriculum planning, lesson planning, assessments and academic calendars.
• Mentor, guide and support teachers through regular reviews, observations and feedback.
• Monitor student progress, identify learning gaps and facilitate interventions.
• Coordinate grade-level activities, projects, assemblies and co-curricular programmes.
• Ensure effective communication among teachers, students, parents and school leadership.
• Address parent and student concerns professionally and ensure timely resolution.
• Maintain academic records, reports and grade-level documentation.
• Support examinations, assessments, parent-teacher meetings and school-wide initiatives.
• Promote student wellbeing, discipline, values and a collaborative school culture.
• Encourage innovative, experiential and technology-enabled teaching-learning practices.
