Job summary

MAN Truck & Bus India Pvt. Ltd. in Pune offers a permanent Cabin & Chassis engineering position with hybrid work. You will design cooling system components, validate via tests, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure proper fit in vehicles.

Role requires CATIA V5 proficiency, PLM knowledge (Windchill/Enovia), and strong GD&T/analytical skills to drive robust cooling solutions for trucks and buses.

Qualifications

• Experience with automotive cooling system components.
• Understanding of cooling system testing and component-level validation.
• Knowledge of plastic and sheet metal design guidelines and manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency in 2D/3D design using CATIA V5.
• Familiarity with PLM tools Windchill and Enovia.
• Knowledge of GD&T and dimensional tolerancing.
• MS Office skills (SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Exposure to release processes and change management.
• Strong fundamentals and analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design cooling lines, heat exchangers, expansion tanks and related components.
• Develop plastic and sheet metal parts for cooling modules and assemblies.
• Create and manage 2D/3D models in CATIA V5 and coordinate with PLM tools.
• Support cross-functional teams to ensure fit, function and packaging.
• Contribute to design verification, GD&T compliance and change management.
