Job summary

Talent Seed Hr Services is seeking a skilled embedded software engineer to develop and maintain ECU control software for EV/HEV applications, with Model-Based Development using MATLAB/Simulink. You will work on CAN/CAN FD networks, AUTOSAR and ISO 26262 aligned projects, and contribute to a robust release process.

You will collaborate across cross-functional teams to implement charging control strategies, integrate diagnostics, and ensure high-quality software releases.

Qualifications

• Experience in developing and maintaining control software for ECUs in EV/HEV applications.
• Ability to integrate software, diagnostics, and safety software into production releases.
• Familiarity with software interfaces, calibration parameters and communication networks.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain control software for Vehicle Control Units (VCU) and Hybrid Control Units (HCU) for EV/HEV applications.
• Support charging software integration and understand AC/DC charging strategies and communication.
• Establish and improve software integration processes and release methodologies.
• Integrate control software and application software into production-ready releases.
• Configure software interfaces, calibration parameters and networks for seamless integration.
• Develop build, integration, version control and release management processes.
• Perform root cause analysis of integration issues and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for timely delivery and compliance.
• Prepare and maintain integration documentation and test reports.

Details of the Job :

• Develop and maintain control software for Vehicle Control Units (VCU) and Hybrid Control Units (HCU) for EV/HEV applications.
• Support charging software integration and possess a good understanding of AC/DC charging control strategies, charging communication, and charging system functionality.
• Establish, implement, and continuously improve software integration processes, workflows, and release methodologies across software development teams.
• Integrate control software, diagnostics, functional safety software, communication stacks, and application software into production-ready software releases.
• Configure and manage software interfaces, calibration parameters, communication networks, and software dependencies to ensure seamless software integration.
• Develop and maintain software build, integration, version control, and release management processes using appropriate development and configuration management tools.
• Perform root cause analysis of software integration issues and implement corrective actions to improve software quality and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure robust software integration, timely project delivery, and compliance with organizational development processes.
• Prepare and maintain software integration documentation, release records, configuration baselines, and technical reports in accordance with automotive quality standards.
