Job summary

Role focuses on end-to-end product development, testing plans, and HW-SW integration within AUTOSAR architectures, with strong emphasis on automotive standards and debugging tools.

Qualifications

• Hands-on EV charger embedded software experience preferred.
• Experience with OCPP, Linux-based embedded platforms, AUTOSAR and automotive comms.
• Familiarity with hardware-software integration and debugging.
• Knowledge of ISO 15118/AIS-138 and testing standards helpful.

Responsibilities

• Develop embedded software using C, C++, C#, Python and MATLAB.
• Work on AC/DC EV Charger software development and OCPP stack integration.
• Develop and integrate software on Linux-based embedded platforms.
• Work with AUTOSAR architecture and automotive embedded systems.
• Handle complete product development lifecycle from concept to final product.
• Prepare test plans and perform software, hardware and system-level testing.
• Perform Hardware-Software Integration, Verification & Validation.
• Work on EV charging protocols and OCPP charging profiles.
• Work with ISO 15118, AIS-138 and other EV standards.
• Support EMI/EMC testing and compliance per IEC, EN, CISPR, ISO, FCC, MIL and DO-160 standards.
• Interface and troubleshoot communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, I2C, SPI, UART, RS-232, RS-485, Ethernet and USB.
• Work with wireless communication technologies such as LoRa, GPS, RF and Bluetooth.
• Interface sensors and peripherals including current, voltage and temperature sensors, ADC, EEPROM, Flash, SD Card, eMMC and DDR.
• Work on AC/DC motor control, BLDC and PMSM motor control applications.
• Perform debugging using JTAG, Lauterbach and other relevant debugging tools.
• Work with microcontrollers/microprocessors/FPGA/ASIC platforms from NXP, ST, TI, Intel and similar manufacturers.
• Apply scripting languages for automation and testing wherever required.
• Follow functional safety, software quality and development standards.
• Handle testing using Oscilloscope, Logic Analyzer, Data Logger, Multimeter, Power Supply, Variac, Dyno, Torque Sensor and Debuggers.
• Prepare technical documentation related to product development, testing and validation.
