Job summary

Embitel Technologies in Pune, India, is seeking an experienced Software Verification Specialist for automotive embedded projects. You will analyze requirements, define tests, and configure quality tools to verify software across SIL/HIL and unit tests.

The role emphasizes integrating MISRA and ISO 26262 practices, using DOORS/Polarion for requirements, and collaborating with project teams and clients to ensure delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience in Automotive Embedded Software Development.
• Knowledge of ASPICE software engineering processes.
• Knowledge of ISO 26262 Functional Safety.
• Experience with requirements management tools such as IBM DOORS or Polarion.
• Knowledge of CI/CD and automated build environments.
• Experience with CAN, LIN, Ethernet, or Automotive Communication Protocols.

Responsibilities

• Analyze software requirements applicable to the project.
• Define and implement tests to verify the software requirements.
• Define and implement automatic tests (SIL, HIL) to verify software requirements.
• Define all the necessary test means to perform the software verification.
• Execute software tests and compile evidence of the results obtained.
• Configure software quality tools (QAC, PolySpace and Tessy) for each project.
• Perform the static analysis of software (MISRA Rules analysis and software quality metrics - QAC).
• Perform the dynamic analysis of software (Runtime errors analysis - PolySpace).
• Perform unit testing of software (Unit test definition, implementation and execution - Tessy).
• Analyse software detail design and software architectural design requirements (Must have).
• Define software integration strategy.
• Perform software integration tests (Integration test definition, implementation and execution).
• Make all the documentation corresponding to the verification and quality of software.
• Support Project managers in the different meetings with the client (regarding software verification).
• Carry out the Test Plan based on the different iterations of each project and the delivery steps to the customer.
