Responsibilities

• Responsible for all aspects of the design and development process for the EV Energy Control System product.
• Derive and detail requirements for discipline development from customer, system requirements specification, and system architecture.
• Ensure that all discipline-relevant requirements (as assigned by system architecture) are collected, clarified, and documented.
• Analyze and maintain change requests.
• Develop the software architecture according to the requirements and decompose it into architectural blocks to facilitate work‑package splitting and integration sequencing.
• Lead software developers and support them in module design and testing.
• Plan, coordinate, and monitor all software development activities of the project.
• Provide solutions for software issues reported by internal or external customers.
• Manage the software project team to define, plan, realize, and deliver agreed software‑specific work products on time, within quality, and within cost.
• Report progress and status of the software project.

Qualifications

• M.S., B.E., or M.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Communication, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related major.
• Experience in EV components or EV technologies such as battery management and charging systems is a great plus.
• 8+ years of experience in embedded software development.
• Experience with software development life cycle.
• Familiarity with Agile or SAFe tools and processes.
• Extensive experience in software development and architecture, ensuring architecture satisfies allocated requirements and monitoring implementation to reduce scope creep.
• Strong background in embedded systems and real‑time operating systems (RTOS).
• Experience with automotive software standards such as AUTOSAR and ISO 26262.
• Strong skills in C/C++ programming and in using C/C++ compilers or post‑build concepts.
• Experience with software development tools and environments.
• Experience with software integration and testing.
• Strong background in software/system design, enabling portability and efficient reuse for future applications.
• Familiarity with software security and data protection.
• At least 3 years of experience in the automotive domain, including automotive communication protocols (CAN, FlexRay), diagnostics, and related tools.
• Experience with functional safety concepts and methods in the automotive domain.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, including conveying complex technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
• Knowledge of electric vehicle systems and technologies.
• Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
