Job summary

Bloom Energy in Navi Mumbai is seeking a technician for remote monitoring and control of the global fuel cell plant fleet. You will operate from the Remote Monitoring and Command Center and support field services during commissioning and troubleshooting.

The role requires basic diploma-level education, familiarity with safety practices for fuels, and solid communication skills to coordinate with engineering and quality teams.

Qualifications

• Diploma holders with strong fundamentals in relevant subjects.
• Basic understanding of working safely with fuels and high temperature applications.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical systems, piping, valves and valve operation.
• Experience with Windows OS and MS-Office.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Remote monitoring and control of the global fleet of fuel cell plants.
• Work in rotational shifts (day/night).
• Coordinate with Field Service Engineers during commissioning, troubleshooting, and quality testing.
• Escalate failures as per procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job description

Position Summary:

Responsible for remote monitoring and control of the global fleet of Fuel Cell Plants from the Remote Monitoring and Command Center in India

Essential Functions:

• Remote Monitoring and Control of the Fuel Cell Plants
• Work in rotational shift - either during the day or night
• Communicate & Support Field Service Engineers during commissioning, troubleshooting etc and Product Quality testing team
• Escalate failures per established procedure
• Perform other duties as assigned

Skills Required:

• Good at Diploma subject fundamentals
• Basic understanding of working safely with fuels (methane, propane, etc.) and high temperature applications
• Basic knowledge of mechanical systems, piping, plumbing, valves and valve operation
• Experience in basic Software such as Windows OS, MS-Office
• Good communication skills (written & verbal)

Additional Skills / Knowledge Preferred:

• Knowledge of DCS / SCADA environment is preferred in case of experienced candidate
